*French Antique Deeply Carved Oak Wood Panel with Bird and Rabbit Hunting

Description

This antique oak panel is from France and it dates to the late 1800’s when hunting themes were popular on highly carved furniture. It was originally a door on a large buffet. It is nicely carved with good detail and is finished to warm dark color. The panel is in good antique condition only minor nicks and scratches. Note that the key hole in the panel has been filled (see photos). Dimensions: 29″ wide, 24″ tall and 2.5″ thick.
